FAQ

Q: I'm traveling in. Where do I stay?

A: There are many hotels nearby and Airbnb is very popular in it’s hometown in San Francisco. We have a dedicated housing and travel Facebook page where once you purchase your ticket, you are invited to connect in with participants from all over to collaborate on house rentals, rideshares, and travel. It's a great way to meet your future partners and build community.

Q: Can I come without a acro partner?

A: Yes, many will come alone, and many will come with a partner.

Q: What if I've never practiced acro or movement before?

A: Welcome! You’re in the same boat that I was in a few years ago. I went to my first festival, had a ball, and haven’t looked back. There’s an entire curriculum dedicated to beginner classes. Give the breadth of the curriculum, everyone at AcroSF is beginner at something. You will never be alone.

Q: Do you offer group tickets?

A: Yes, for groups 10 and up.

Q: What should I bring?

A: Here’s a gear list:

Comfortable non-slip clothing

Refillable water bottle (no glass please)

Dress in layers, sometimes you’ll be moving around a lot, sometimes you won’t

For outside, a jacket and sunglasses – San Francisco’s warmest month is August but it can be windy

Optional: Studio socks and a yoga mat cut in half for tight hamstrings

Q: Can I do work trade?

A: Yes, click here.
